Utah

After Burley we headed down to Utah to visit some friends (you may remember them from a post a couple of months ago). The Bonds were gracious enough to let us stay at their house and entertain us for a couple of days! We had so much fun and were so sad to come back to reality! :(

Shawn on our way home! Sorry these are reversed! But i'm pretty proud of myself...I drove quite a bit...which is usually totally not like me..usually i'm the one passed out the whole time!

The Salt Lake!!

The Temple...Shawn called me a tourist because I was totally taking a picture while we were driving home! So what?!?!

I was sooo happy that while we were there we got to see some of my cousins...I haven't seen most of them since I was 16!! Yeah..it had been quite a while! It was so nice of them to come and hang out with us! We definitely need to get together more often! I hadn't seen any of their kids so it was awesome to spend sometime with all of them! Love you guys!

One thing I really don't like about living in the valley is that there are no mountains around. I mean there are but you have to drive to see them. First thing we noticed about Amy and Brian's house is that there are mountains ALL OVER! We went on a walk the last day we were there and that's honestly something I wish we had here! We got to explore some mountains while we were there and even saw a baby moose. Man they are huge!

Thanks everyone for an awesome time! We will have to make this a yearly thing!

Idaho

Shawn and I had an awesome time on our mini-vacation. First we headed to Burley, Idaho to see my 2 of my cousins! It was so much fun to see them and hang out at their beautiful house on the river. Half way into our visit there was a rain/lightning storm and the electricity went out. Luckily, they were planning on having Boy Scout foil dinners anyways...it was awesome! We missed Ryan and Andrea (my other cousin) because we had to head out for Utah and Andrea was racing in a half marathon! But we got a chance to see their adorable kids! It was such a good time and I wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you Julie and John for letting us come and invade your house! It was so great to see everyone!

Jaeli having fun on the scooter

Jace, Jakeb, Julie, Kristi Dawn, Bailey and Logan

Joey and Jaeli

Jaeli always the life of the party!

Joey is such a champ! He rides a bike and a scooter and he's only 2 years old! He is such a fun little guy!

Ellie (Ryan and Andrea's little girl) she is so cute and so much fun!

The rest of the gang!

Jaeli had me laughing the whole time we were there. She is such a girly girl...emotions and all! :) We just love her!

LAME-O

WOW my blog has been lame lately! Sorry!! Not that cyberspace missed me or anything..but life has just been kind of crazy lately.
I just got done with class and Shawn has been studying like crazy. But...we are both very excited to get "the heck out of dodge" TOMORROW and go on a fun little mini-vacation to...

and then to...

So in case you can't tell the first picture is Idaho and the second one is Utah. I know most of you are thinking well that's not a very fun vacation...well think again!! Relaxing and hanging out with friends and family..doesn't get much better then that...and ROAD TRIP!! Who doesn't love spending 10 hours in a car with me?!?! HAHA...well ask Shawn when we get back!!
Then after our mini-vacation...

Yep...Summer School. And not only is it summer school...it's STATISTICS. I'm pretty sure i've gone insane. So if you don't see me for a while it's because i'm working and taking a 6 week Statistics class...haha...good times! So I plan on taking a TON of pictures but don't plan on seeing those until sometime after July 30th...when schools out! Update on Shawn...he has something like 6 more classes and he's done!! Well not quite...then he gets to start his internship with a hospital...(not sure where yet) and then onto ambulance internship. Woohoo!! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!! He could...if all of those books would just get out of the way!!
