I've been wanting to post about this but have been holding off until everything was confirmed but it's now official! Shawn was accepted into a Paramedic program! He is already in an intensive anatomy and physiology class for the program and will be starting paramedic school in November. It's NCTI at the Roseville location and we are both really excited about it!

The program is about a year long (I think it might be longer!) and man do they make them work! He has to do all of his didactic and lab training for 7-8 months which is basically just classroom stuff and then they move onto clinical rotations for 2-3 months where he is actually working in a hospital and then onto the field internship for 4-6 months. (See that is longer then a year!)

I am so proud of Shawn and how hard he works for both of us! I know it will be a lot of work but I'm excited for him and for this next adventure to start!
