So this past weekend was 4th of July! Unfortunatley I am super lame and didn't take pictures of any of it. Shawn was at the fire station on Friday and I had the day off. Friday morning I had some math homework to catch up on and then Billy and I went over to my parents. Austen and Billy played video games and I laid out and got an awesome sunburn! That evening we went down to my parent's neighbors and had a pretty fun firework show! Gotta love the neighbors and their illegal fireworks! Saturday we went to the Sacramento temple with the family. Alyssa (Shawn's cousin) is getting married in August. It's always nice to get together with everyone! Sunday was really relaxing, we both took much needed naps and spent the evening playing Rock Band with Billy! We had a pretty busy weekend visiting some other friends but it was really nice to have 3 days off! I think that every week should be this way! We hope that everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July! I promise that I will get better at taking pictures!
P.S. If you notice a lot of changes to the blog...my apologizes I am still trying to figure everything out....and finding a background that both Shawn and I agree on can be difficult! (And I thought decorating our house was hard!!!)

Its all good Brittany, when I first started my blog I swear I changed the background tons of times. And it wasnt until just recently that I finally found one that I really liked! Im glad you guys had a good 4th, its always nice to have a long weekend!
haha! that's funny that he is so involved in the blogging...im still trying to figure out how to do my own backgrounds that I like too. I can't figure it out. my sis in law will be in town though soon so i'm hopin to get some help from her! so i know what you mean...
